It all started by us replacing our crappy mattress that came with our RV. That lead to helping our friends replace theirs, then their friends and so on. Once we realized the dire need of mattresses focused on the RV industry, we set out to develop great quality mattresses designed for RV's, making made sure to keep cost, weight, & durability in mind. You have 100 calendar days (from the date of delivery) to return your Wilderness Mattress. We ask that you sleep on your awesome new mattress for at least 30 nights to allow your body to properly adjust. Sometimes going from a terrible mattress, to a comfy new one can take some time to adjust.

To initiate a return, simply email a request to returns@wildernessrvmattress.com. Please include your order number in the email. Once eligibility is confirmed, we will simply have you find a local charity to donate the mattress to.  (to be eligible for a return, you must still be within your 100-night trial period, and the mattress must be clean and undamaged).  Once proof of donation has been sent to us, you will receive a full refund. And someone in need will get a new mattress. Everyone wins!! You must receive an email approval of donation before making the donation. 

We will never ask you to squeeze the mattress back into that tiny box! So once you open your new mattress just throw it away.

If your order is able to be cancelled before going into production, we can cancel the order and issue a full refund.  If your order has already went into production but has not shipped yet, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund minus a $49 stocking fee. If your order has already shipped or has already been delivered. And you need to cancel the simply give us a call at 888-844-7701 and we can give you instructions on how to return the mattress. In order to be granted approval for return. You must have had the mattress for less than 30 days and the mattress must be unopened and still in the original box. Once we receive the mattress back you will receive a full refund minus a $49 stocking fee. The customer is also liable for return shipping to us.

Buyers are responsible for providing Wilderness RV Mattress with the correct delivery address, Wilderness RV Mattress is not responsible for being provided incorrect or misspelled addresses. It is the buyers responsibility to make sure the address in which they provide is able and willing to accept oversize and heavy packages. If for any reason a package from Wilderness RV Mattress is deemed undeliverable by FedEx or Refused by the seller or address recipient. Wilderness RV Mattress will provide a refund * Minus the cost of shipping & and minus 20% restocking fee. If the buyer would like a 2nd attempt to be made the buyer will be charged a shipping for the 2nd attempt. So please always double check and make sure the address is correct.

After you unwrap your new mattress and set it up. In can be slept on in just 15-20 minutes. It may take up to 24 hours to fully fill in the corners.

Your new RV mattress is compressed and rolled, then packaged in a box, before being shipped directly to you. Take the box to the location you wish open your mattress. Remove the compressed mattress from the box, and carefully cut open the outer plastic wrapping of your mattress (A basic letter opener works great for this step). After the outer plastic has been removed, carefully cut or tear away the plastic covering on your mattress. It will immediately begin to expand. Once you’ve removed the plastic, set and position your mattress in its place and allow it to fully expand. It will be fully expanded and ready to use within minutes!

There are no odors or smells any different than those you would encounter when buying a new couch or a new car. Since our beds are made to order, they are only boxed for a short amount of time and sent to you immediately, unlike other companies which store them warehouses or have them shipped from overseas, where they acquire container smells and become stale.

Our beds use only CertiPUR-US® foams so you can be rest assured there are no harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde, ozone depletes, heavy metals, and certain flame retardants. These foams meet CertiPUR-US® program standards for content and emissions and are analyzed by independent, accredited testing laboratories.

Yes! If you have under bed storage in your RV, the mattress will flex so you can still get to your storage. Also if your RV has an adjustable base that raises the head of the mattress so you can bring your slide in, the mattresses are designed to work in this application as well. The mattresses also work on any adjustable base in your home. 

All Wilderness RV mattresses purchased on wildernessrvmattress.com come with a full 10-year hassle free warranty that covers any defects or body impressions that measure 1" or more. The tag sewn in at the head of the mattress must remain intact or the warranty is void. Our pillow comes with a 3-year full replacement warranty that covers any defects in the material. Our mattress topper comes with a 3 year warranty.
