A hinge allows your mattress to fold for easy access to under-bed storage. Some RVs require a hinged mattress to fold up with the slide-in mechanism, or to fit tight spaces in camper vans. If your bed doesn't need to fold, select "No Hinge" and continue.

How do I measure my RV bed?
- Remove your old mattress completely
- Measure the platform frame (not the old mattress)
- Measure width — edge to edge
- Measure length — headboard to foot

If your RV bed has rounded, angled, or notched corners:

- Choose the corner type for each corner (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right)
- Enter the X (width) and Y (depth) measurements in inches

You need a hinge if:
- Your mattress needs to fold up to access storage underneath
- Your RV has a slide-in mechanism that requires the mattress to fold
- You have a camper van with limited space where the bed folds away
