Size Guide

13 standard sizes. Plus whatever else you need.

We don't stock mattresses — every single one is cut to your size at our South Carolina facility. Our 13 standard dimensions cover the vast majority of RVs and home beds. Everything else is a custom build at the same quality.

Custom, When You Need It

Not a standard size? That's our normal.

A big share of our orders include at least one custom modification — an odd dimension, a rounded corner, a notch for a slide-out. Since nothing sits on a warehouse floor, "custom" isn't a special order. It's Tuesday.

We build any size to the whole inch, and we add rounded corners, notches, and hinges to match your platform. Here's what that looks like.

Measure your platform in 3 minutes.

Pull the old mattress out. Measure the platform — not the old mattress (foam compresses, covers shrink). Round down when in doubt; slightly tight is easier to live with than too big.

LENGTH WIDTH RV Platform (top-down view)
  1. 1
Width & length, corner to corner
Measure the platform at its widest and longest points. If the platform is uneven, measure both sides and use the smaller number.
  2. 2
    Radius on any rounded corner
If any corner is curved, trace the curve on a piece of paper or measure the radius from the corner inward. A 2" or 3" radius is typical.
  3. 3
    Notches, cutouts, and thickness
Note any notches for wheel wells or posts (width × depth). Also check clearance above — we build 6", 8", and 10–11" profiles.

Need a custom corner?

Radius, angle, or notch — if your bed has a rounded corner, a diagonal cut, or a cabinet cutout, we match it exactly. Here's how to measure yours.

Need a hinge?

Slide-out clearance, easier storage access, or a Murphy-bed fold? Most hinges let the foot flip up when a slide comes in. We add a clean hinge wherever you need it.

How to Measure Custom Corners

Select your corner type to see how to measure it:

How to measure: X = width of the cut, Y = depth of the cut. Measure from where the corner starts to where it ends.

How to Position Your Hinge

Select your hinge type for measurement instructions:

Why a hinge? Most hinges let the foot flip up so the mattress clears a slide when it comes in, or makes under-bed storage easier to reach. A few Murphy beds need a hinge near the head. Measure from the foot (or head) edge to where the fold goes.
